Under 15 Football League Division 5 Semi Final
Kilbride GFC 4-12 Moynalty 2-3
Moynalty made the trip to Kilbride Wednesday evening to challenge for a place in the final. The game started at a blistering pace with Moynalty striding through the middle on several occasions, but ruefully without converting their chances. Kilbride clinically punished Moynalty’s missed chances in front of goal and went in at the half with a healthy lead. Moynalty rallied through a goal from Leo Kavanagh. Aaron Lynch, Will Smyth and Ewan Gilsenan put some good moves together in the forwards and worked their socks off. Oran McKenna led from the back as always and the versatile Henry Pratt also impressed. The lads will learn a lot from the game as it could’ve been a different outcome given we converted some of our chances in front of goal. Kilbride were deserved winners on the day. Well done lads.
