Slane 1:18 Moynalty 0:06

Moynalty travelled to an inform Slane side on Tuesday evening in what was a fantastic evening for football weather wise. It didn’t take the home side long to get control of the match, as their accuracy infront of goal proved much stronger than the away sides as they consistently kept the scoreboard ticking over. Half Time Score Slane 0:11 Moynalty 0:03

Moynalty created more chances moving forward in the second half, but the luck was not there with Dylan Farrelly hitting the crossbar and James Lynch seeing a well struck penalty well saved by Slane’s goalkeeper. The best player for Moynalty was undoubtedly goalkeeper Thomas Owens, who made several goal saving saves, with the only time he was beaten being an unlucky high ball attempt at the very death of the match. Moynalty have one final game in the league left, at home to Longwood in 3 weeks time on July 9th.
