There was a minute silence to remember the late Rose O’Reilly before the Division 9 clash against O’Mahony’s.
Moynalty were slow out of the blocks and struggled against a much more organised and energised O’Mahonys side. Moynalty never really found their rhythm in the first half, which left them trailing 0:04 to 1:07 at half time.
Second half substitutions boosted Moynalty’s confidence and put them in the driving seat. A Paul Lynch goal, and two points off the bench from the returning Kian Lynch mounted a second half Moynalty comeback, and a much stronger defensive effort in the second half sealed the win for the lads.
