Moynalty went into their seventh division 9 game looking to improve on their recents results in the division after two losses on the bounce. It was a slow start from the homeside, who only recorded two first half points against a 14 a side Curraha side. Half time score Moynalty 0-02 Curraha 0-07
Moynalty regrouped in the second half and slowly etched away at the deficit, finding scores across the park. The game changing moment came shortly before the end, when the homeside were 2 points down and Dylan Farrelly stormed in on goal and was fouled for a penalty. James Lynch stood up and converted from the spot to cap off a brilliant personal performance, and put the homeside ahead for the first time on the night.
