Ballivor 2-03 Moynalty 2-11
Moynalty travelled to the immaculate Ballinlough for the second round of their league campaign. First half goals from the ever busy James Carville, who celebrated his 13th birthday yesterday, and Will Smyth saw Moynalty lead at the break. The second half brought great defensive skill, with Oran McKenna, Bríon Gilsenan and Oisin Gilsenan producing excellent blocks and well time tackles to keep Ballinlough at bay. The work ethic of the Moynalty players was clear to see, with Stephen Cassidy, Danny Gorman and joint team captains Leo Kavanagh and Aaron Lynch leading by example. Well done lads.
