Moynalty 2-14 to Bective 3-11
Moynalty made the journey to Bective to play the last round of the spring league games on Wednesday evening. It was nip and tuck with Bective first to hit the net to put 3 points between the teams. Moynalty came back at them with a few well worked team scores. Aaron Lynch and Leo Kavanagh worked very hard at midfield with some great fielding with Aaron finishing with 1-5. The second half was a tight affair with never to much between the teams . The defence worked hard with Stephen Cassidy and Oran Mc Kenna working tirelessly to keep there danger men quiet. The forwards all worked hard to make themselves available with Will Smyth linking up well to move the ball to the inside forwards of Henry Pratt , James Carville and Danny Gorman with Danny scoring 1-4 . This was a great test for the lads with everyone putting in a great effort. The game finished level Moynalty 2-14 to Bective 3-11. The lads are now rewarded with a place in the semi finals TBC .
